Zelma Stafford

Zelma Stafford was born August 8, 1936, in Macon County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at the age of 86.

She was the daughter of the late John Robert Hollars and Elizabeth Mary Hollars. She was married to the late Roy Edward Stafford, who passed away April 28, 1998. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Beech Grove Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Son: Larry Stafford; Daughters: Mary Alice Stafford, Linda Sue Stafford, and Lisa Marie Stafford; and Grandson: Roy Lynn.

Survivors include her Sons: Lanny Stafford of Whitleyville, TN, and Roy Lee (SueAnn) Stafford; Special friend she considered as a daughter: Shelia Huffines of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Christopher (Loren) Stafford, Amy (Steve) Heicher, Lindsey Burris, Summer Stafford, Sara Ford, and Leann (Neil) Stafford; and Great Grandchildren: Chloe Stafford, Autumn Stafford, Nelson Stafford, and Nehemiah Schmidt.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Matthew Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Willette Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
