Winnie B. Craighead

Funeral services for Winnie B. Craighead, 76, of the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M, and Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her residence. She was born July 17, 1944, in Jackson County, TN. She was the daughter of the late William Shelby Lynn and Brina Lucille Mea Lynn. On October 17, 1986, she was married to Kenneth Ray Craighead, who survives. She was a retired shirt factory worker, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Birth Mother: Annie Lynn Stroude; 1 Daughter: Missy Carol West; Brothers: Garland, Eldon, and Jr. Lynn; and Sisters: Modine Pruett, Lorean Davis, Helen Kernell, Frances Murphy, and Ann Allen. Survivors include her Husband: Kenneth Ray Craighead of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Jimmy (Cara) Frizzell of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Brothers: Raymond Joe (Linda) Lynn of Willette, TN, and Lester Fred Lynn of Lafayette, TN; 4 Sisters: Faye (Phil) Kernell of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Bobbie Lynn of Cookeville, TN, Patricia (Stephen) Powers of Lafayette, TN, and Gail (David) Brown of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Lindsey Frizzell, Lacey (Charles) Cooper, Paige (Curtis) Jones, and Sydney West; and Great Grandchildren: Kade Cooper, Lola Henderson, Harper Cummings, Cash Gentry, Ollie Cooper, Roman Jones, Harlan Cooper, Salem Jones, and Chapel Jones.
