Wilma Ramsey

Funeral services for Wilma (Kay) Ramsey, 56, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., Tuesday from 9 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007, at her residence in Cookeville, TN. She was born August 4, 1951, in Detroit, MI, to Mary Frances Kinnaird Ramsey and the late Lee Morgan Ramsey. She was a telephone operator for GTE, and an avid doll collector. She was a graduate of Jackson County High School, and a member of the Zion Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Roger Dale and Morgan Mark Ramsey. Survivors include her Mother: Mary Frances Kinnaird Ramsey of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: Richard Wayne (Brenda) Ramsey of Algood, TN; and 4 Sisters and 2 Brothers-in-Law: Beverly and Dale Crossman, Sheila and Eddie Smith, Mary Ann Wilson, and Pamela Ramsey, all of Cookeville, TN. Several uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Don Chaffin and Bro. Ted Gaw will officiate at the services.
