Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Lee Maynard, 60, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 5, 1951, in Troy, NC, to the late George Chriscoe and Mildred Christal Sheffield. On March 3, 2002, she was married to Donnie L. Maynard, Sr., who survives. She was a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother. She was an avid fisherman in her youth, involved in crafts, and loved NASCAR. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Michael Joe Phillips. Survivors include her Husband: Donnie L. Maynard, Sr. of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Bobby Ray Phillips of Mt. Airy, NC, and Anthony Scott Phillips of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Step - Sons: Denny Ray Hobbs of Maryland, Kelly Maynard of Cookeville, TN, and Donnie L. Maynard, Jr. of Cookeville, TN; 5 Brothers: Freddy, Everett, Wayne, Sampson, and Ray Chriscoe; 2 Sisters: Pam Chriscoe and Joyce Johnston; 10 Grandchildren; and 1 Great Grandchild. Bro.
