Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Jo Lambert, 77, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, May 30, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born June 27, 1938 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Hershel Strong and Dovie Strong. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Hershel Strong and Dovie McClure Strong; 2 Grandchildren: Scott Dennis and Jade Lambert; 3 Sisters: Ruth Hudson, Alta Harris, and Reta Dennis; 2 Brothers: Ronnie Strong and Hershel Strong, and 1 Infant Brother: Fay Strong. Survivors include 1 Son: Ray (Brandi) Lambert of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Linda Gore of Gainesboro, TN; Rita (Larry) Allen of Whitleyville, TN; and Brenda Roach of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Patricia (Herman) Moss of Lafayette, TN; 1 Grandson She Raised: Brad Dennis, and 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
