Wilma Jean Buck

Wilma Jean Buck, age 79, died on July 13, 2020, at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born October 4, 1940, in Gainesboro, TN. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzles, listening to Elvis, reading books, and making sure everyone that came to her house had snacks and candy to sample. She never missed a family members birthday by calling, doing a card or money or attending the party. She always treated her nieces and nephews and their kids as her own. She worked at various factories before retiring. She attended the Sugar Creek Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother: Virgie Buck and father: Perry Buck; brother: Billy Buck; and sister and brother-in-law: Gerldine and Lawton Scantland. She is survived by a sister: Martha Buck; a sister-in-law: Marie Buck; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including great-great nephews: Tyler and Cameron Buck; great-great niece: Lorelei Crabtree; and great-great nephew to be: Bennett Dixon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 11 A.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
