Wilma Jean Anderson

Funeral services for Wilma Jean Anderson, 78, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 2 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in Spring Hill, TN. She was born April 24, 1941, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Hubert Hammock and Ardie Hammock. On January 20, 1961, she was married to the late James Howard Anderson. She was a homemaker, and attended the Freewill Holiness Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was precede d in death by 1 Daughter: Connie Arlene Anderson; 1 Sister: Averdale Hammock; and 2 Brothers: James Hammock and Lonnie Hammock. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Phyllis Ann Farmer of Spring Hill, TN; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Ulis Hammock and wife, Pauline, and Truman Hammock and wife, Glenda; and 4 Sisters: Truzene Phy, Thelma Barlow, Willadean Isaacs, and Betty Coffman.
