Nellie Willine Raines was born November 16, 1927 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Picayune. MS at the age of 96.
She wsa the daughter of Morgan Lonzo Pippin and Sarah Chaffin Pippin. Mrs. Willine was a furniture factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Raines; sons, Steve and Jimmy Raines; daughter, Shirley Allen; brothers, Thurman Pippin, Leonard Pippin, Ray Oliver Pippin and Claude Pippin; sisters, Doyle Pippin Raines and Rhody Pippin and 2 grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Jo Ann (Charles) Spurlock of Baxter and Judy Phifer of Picayune, MS; grandchildren, Abby Hopkins, Tanya Fox, Marnie Halfacre, Nicki Norton, David Phifer and Cayla Raines. 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2 pm at Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove Community. Bro. Lakelan Barham will be officiating. No visitation is scheduled prior to the service.
