Willie Pediago Allen

Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Pediago Allen, 91, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, February 11, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Monday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born December 6, 1921, in Kentucky, to the late Washie Pediago and Naomi Pediago. On February 16, 1941, she was married to the late Clarence C. Allen, who passed away May 17, 2001. She was a homemaker, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Ray C. Allen. Survivors include 1 Son: Aldon (Diane) Allen of Baxter, TN; 1 Daughter: Betty Stewart of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Lisa (David) Collins of Cookeville, TN, Wendy (Jeff) Bradshaw of Cookeville, TN, Aldon Allen II of Cookeville, TN, and Brandon Mitchell Allen of Baxter, TN; 7 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Allison Jones and Hailey Due.
