Funeral services for Mr. Willie Lee Stafford, 84, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston, TN. He was born January 11, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jesse J. Stafford and Dollie Vaughn Stafford Moss. He was a farmer, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Gene Stafford, Aaron Stafford, Demon Odell Stafford, Tommy Clay Stafford, and Mack Bilbrey Stafford; and 2 Sisters: Lola D. Stafford and Margaret Elizabeth Stafford. Survivors include 1 Sister: Flora Mai Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Nephews: Bobby, Brown, Grover, Danny, and Mikey Stafford; and 3 Nieces: Dece Key, Dottie Dawes, and Mary Lou Carmack. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Willie Stafford family by contacting the funeral home.
