Willie Earl Heady

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Earl Heady, 73, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M, and on Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Heady passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born July 1, 1934, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Jim Heady and Bernettie Denton Heady. He was married to Peggy Heady, who survives. He was an industrial mechanic, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter: Meagan Cassetty; and 2 Infant Sisters. Survivors include his Wife: Peggy Heady of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: Randy Heady of Gainesboro, TN, and Jeff Heady of Celina, TN; 2 Daughters: Kathy Ledbetter of Cookeville, TN and Karen Cassetty of the North Springs Community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Step - Sons: Michael Smith of Cookeville, TN and Will Hamby of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Step - Daughters: Terri Peek of Cookeville, TN, and Lisa Pugh of Homestead, FL; 4 Brothers: Fred D. Heady of Baxter, TN, Harold Heady, John I. Heady, and David Heady, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Jean Thornton of Gainesboro, TN; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great - Grandchild; 10 Step-Grandchildren; and 1 Step-Great Grandchild. Bro.
