Mr. William S. (Bill) Lee, 86, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. The family has chosen cremation, and no services are planned at this time. He was born August 4, 1921, in Putnam County, Tennessee, to the late Benton and Daisy Petty Lee. On March 4, 1946, he was married to the late Evelyn Mae Matthews Lee. He was a brick layer, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: John, Hop, B.M., and Harper Lee; and 2 Sisters: Mae Bivens and Winnie Toner. Survivors include 1 Son: James (Donna) Lee of Dillsburg, PA; 3 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Becky (Bob) Berrier of Lancaster, PA, Amy (Mitchel) West of Gainesboro, TN, and Diana (Kirk) Roth of Nashville, TN; 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Brother: Howard Lee of Cookeville, TN.
