William "Bill" Jacobs

William “Bill” Jacobs, Jr. was born June 19, 1961, in Bay City, MI, and he passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN, at the age of 60. He was the son of William Louis Jacobs, Sr. and the late Suzanne Lynn Arndt Burgess. He was married to Darlene Jacobs, who survives. He worked as a machinist in the tool and die industry with Genco Stamping and was a member of the Willette Christian Church. He also served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Matthew Jacobs; Step Sister: Renee Coblentz; his Grandparents; and Uncle: Wayne Groom. Survivors include his Wife: Darlene Jacobs of Gainesboro, TN; Sons: Richard Jacobs of Monroe, TN, Michael Jacobs of Gainesboro, TN, and Robert Jacobs of Gainesboro, TN; Daughters: Christina Brown of Japan, Cassey Jones of Carthage, TN, and Kayla Jacobs of Cookeville, TN; Brother: Greg Jacobs of Bay City, MI; Step Brother: Brian Spencer of FL; Sister: Carla Rivers of PA; Step Sister: Karen Abbs of Indiana; his Father and Step-Mother: William Louis (Mary) Jacobs, Sr. of FL; 24 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Pastor Johnny West will officiate the service.
