Willard Locke

Funeral services for Mr. Willard Locke, 86, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and formerly of Jackson County, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Isaac Flatt Cemetery in the Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Locke passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born January 14, 1921, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Morgan and Edith Birdwell Locke. He was a farmer, and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Cordell Locke and Marvin Locke; and 4 Sisters: Vola Locke, Marjorie Young, Velma Leslie, and Louise Finlayson. Survivors include 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Vernon and Bobbie Locke of Cookeville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Johnny W. Fox will officiate at the services.
