Willard H. Mayberry

Funeral services for Mr. Willard H. Mayberry, 72, of the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born October 26, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ewin Mayberry and Martha Lou Mayberry. On August 15, 1964, he was married to Linda Pearl Mansell Mayberry, who survives. He was retired from Porelon, and a member of the Church of Christ at Freewill. He was a Jackson County commissioner, and a board member of the Center Grove Community Center. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Glen Mayberry and Bobby Mayberry. Survivors include his Wife: Linda Pearl Mansell Mayberry of the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Brother: Roy Maberry of Cookeville, TN; and 3 Sisters: Lois Maxwell of Cookeville, TN, Joyce Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN, and Linda Mertz of Cookeville, TN. Many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
