Weldon "Curly" Roberts

Graveside services for Mr. Weldon "Curly" Roberts, 84, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Richmond Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the graveside prior to the service. He passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 11, 1933, in Flemingsburg, KY, to the late Jack Roberts and Thelma Roberts. On February 15, 1979, he was married to Mila L. Roberts, who survives. He was a timber inspector, and lived in Ohio for over 40 years. He loved camping and fishing, and reading his Bible. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: David Roberts; 2 Brothers: Jackie Roberts and Buddy Roberts; and 1 Sister: Helen Hamilton. Survivors include his Wife: Mila L. Roberts of Cookeville, TN; 3 Sons: Darroll Roberts of Lexington, KY, Paul Winslow of Cookeville, TN, and Jade Roberts of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Melissa Hicks of Georgetown, OH; 5 Grandchildren; several Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Timmy Roberts, Steve Roberts, and Larry Roberts; and 4 Sisters: Brenda Mahaffery, Kimberly Shelton, Patty Mason, and Robin Frederick.
