Wanda M. Cherry

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda M. Cherry, 52, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born October 11, 1959, in Jackson County, TN, to Mayzell Flatt Mayberry and the late Donald Mayberry. On December 11, 1976, she was married to Bobby M. Cherry, who survives. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Free State Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: James H. and Nannie Bell Mayberry and Harvey and Lura Stout Flatt. Survivors include Her husband: Bobby M. Cherry of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Shannon (Leonard) Elliott; 1 Grandchild: Angel Heady; Her mother: Mayzell Flatt Mayberry of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister: Rhonda (Eugene) Heady of Cookeville, TN; 2 Nephews: Cody Heady and Noah Heady.
