Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda L. Hedrick, 72, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 7 P.M. on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owensville, KY. Wanda had chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Friday at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Sunday at Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owensville, KY, from 3 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at her residence. She was born March 8, 1947, in Mt. Sterling, KY, to the late Ora Hughes and Mary Eliza Hughes. On November 15, 1967, she was married to Russell Lee Hedrick, who survives. She was a retired LPN, housewife, and grandmother. She was a member of Faith Chapel Ministries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Cherie Annette Hedrick; 1 Son: Russell Lee Hedrick III; and 2 Brothers: Gene Hughes and Julian Hughes. Survivors include her Husband: Russell Lee Hedrick of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Angela Dawn Hedrick of Cookeville, TN; Brother: Gerald (Josephine) Hughes of Ashland, KY; Grandchild: Jordan Christopher Holloway and fiance Caylee Ann Marie Cooper of Cookeville, TN; Friends: Darlene and Gerald Neal, Steve and Bonnie Warren, and Kathy Davidson; Life Friend: Sharon Lambert Sharpe of Battle Ground, Washington; and Family and Friends in Kentucky: Janet and Jim Butler, Kathy Rogers, Donna Hughes, and Terry Hughes. Tim Ray will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
