Graveside services for Mrs. Wanda Olene Jones Kennedy, 85, of Beech Grove, IN, will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 P.M. - 3 P.M. She passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Manor Care South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born July 13, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Willie Andrew Jones and Mamie Stafford Jones. On July 19, 1976, she was married to the late Jimmie Ray Kennedy, who passed away May 10, 2010. She was an employee of McCall's magazine, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: I.B. Jones, Artie Lee Jones, and William Earl Jones; and 2 Sisters: Peggy Helen Jones and Patsy Moss. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Karen Jones Spencer of Beech Grove, IN; 2 Grandchildren: Jennifer Lee Gona of Indianapolis, IN, and Brett Allen Withers of Nashville, TN; 1 Great Grandson: Willie Gona; 1 Sister: Annette Brown of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters-in-Law: Bonnie Jones, Robbie Jones, and Nell Jones.
