Wade Franklin Hensley, Sr., 61, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. The family has chosen cremation. A graveside memorial service will be held at the Keith - Bilbrey Cemetery in the North Springs community on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 1 P.M. He was born October 28, 1948, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Cordell and Roxie Richardson Hensley. He was married to Gaile Kernell Hensley, who survives. He was a heavy equipment operator, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Melissa Young; 1 Sister: Syble Stafford; and 1 Grandson: Chance Campbell. Survivors include his Wife: Gaile Kernell Hensley of the North Springs community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Son: Wade Hensley, Jr. of Macon County, TN; 2 Daughters: Sharon Beaty and Sheila Smith, both of the North Springs community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Brother: Eddie Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Virginia Hines of Gainesboro, TN, and Maggie West of Gainesboro, TN. 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
