W C Howell

William Curtis Howell was born March 31, 1944, in Erin, TN and he passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, in Livingston Regional Hospital at the age of 80.

W C was the son of Dorothy Lee Howell Reynolds.  He was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ and a retired worker of Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in Nashville.  On May 14, 1999, he was married to Shirley Ann Birdwell Stewart just having celebrated their 25th anniversary.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Faye and step-son, Jimmy Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Birdwell Howell of Cookeville; sons: Steve Howell of Citrus Hills, FL; Tim Howell  of Hermitage, TN; mother, Dorothy Reynolds; half sisters: Judy Laxton Rye, Joyce Scism and Faye Winstead; granddaughter, Meaghan Howell; step-grandchildren: Miles and Ethan along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, 6-8 pm and Wednesday 10 am to 11 am at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11 am in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff McDaniel and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Young Cemetery in the Center Grove Community.
