Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Meadows, 88, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Signature Health Care Center in Algood, TN. She was born February 18, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Zeb Stafford and Ina Stewart Stafford. On June 10, 1944, she was married to Paul Meadows, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Grandchildren: Brad Whitaker and Andy Meadows; 4 Brothers; and 1 Sister. Survivors include her Husband: Paul Meadows of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Paul E. (Kay) Meadows of Cookeville, TN, and Benny (Pat) Meadows of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Sue (Fred) Warden of Cookeville, TN, Betty (Willis) Walker of Hendersonville, TN, and Beverly (Michael) Shrum of Hermitage, TN; 2 Sisters: Roberta Yandell of Sparta, TN, and Bessie Howell of Westmoreland, TN; 7 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren.
