Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia M. Goolsby, 82, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born July 1, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Bailey and Rhoda Young Pippin. She was married to the late Claude Cecil Goolsby. She retired from Model Laundry and was affiliated with the Union Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Wesley Claude Goolsby; 1 Brother: James Pippin; and 1 Sister: Mildred Thompson. Survivors include 1 Son: Jerry Goolsby of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Granddaughters: Rachel Moen of Cookeville, TN and Rhoda Mull of Livingston, TN; and 6 Great- Grandchildren: Rachel Randolph, Cecilia Goolsby, Gabriel Moen, Freedom Moen, Dakota Mull, and Hunter Mull.
