Viola Mae Atkinson

Graveside services for Mrs. Viola Mae Atkinson, 86, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. The family will meet at the cemetery on Tuesday. Mrs. Atkinson passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Standing Stone Care Center in Monterey, TN. She was born August 12, 1920, in Memphis, MI, to the late George and Grace Cole Standen. She was married to the late Lloyd Atkinson and Arthur Leonard Sullivan. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of God in Detroit, MI. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Joseph D. Llano; and 1 Brother: Charles Standen. Survivors include 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Kathleen and Kenneth Davidson of Cookeville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Kellyann Agner of Danville, VA, and Kolleen Rae Davidson of Austell, GA; 5 Great - Grandchildren: Brandon Llano, Felicia Marie Hester, Cristina Llano, Nicholas Agner, and Brianna Agner; and 1 Step - Daughter: Esther Barber of Pontiac, MI.
