Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Ramsey, 78, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at her residence. She was born March 12, 1932, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Perry Barnes and Vernie Smith Barnes. On December 11, 1948, she was married to Hollis Ramsey, who survives. She was a factory worker and homemaker, and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Lee Barnes and Andrew Barnes; and 1 Sister: Alta B. Stacey. Survivors include her Husband: Hollis Ramsey of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Alan (Wilma) Ramsey of Celina, TN, and Glen (Deborah) Ramsey of Baxter, TN; 2 Daughters: Clara Jane (Dalton) Richardson of Gainesboro, TN, and Joan Biggs and husband, Wayne Sevier, of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Tammy Haney, Deanna Lilly, Brian Biggs, Christy Biggs, Christopher Ramsey, Natasha Thrasher, Matthew Hill, and Brent Biggs; and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
