Versie Brown Nemore

Funeral services for Mrs. Versie Brown Nemore, 93, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Allentown Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born May 7, 1921 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ed Lee Brown and Cora Jones Brown. She was married to the late Walter Robert Nemore, who passed away May 8, 2005. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: J.B. Brown and William "Bill" Brown. Survivors include 1 Son: Robert Nemore and his wife, Barbara of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandsons: Donnie Nemore and friend, Hannah of Cookeville, TN and Jay Nemore and his wife, Rhonda of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Danielle Meadows and Haley Nemore, both of Gainesboro, TN; and Special Friends: Pat Scott, Aline Dixon, Dona Anderson, and Lorea Brown. Memorial donations may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Care Center or the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ Care Center by contacting the funeral home. Bro.
