Vernon "Cooter" Walker, Jr. was born March 26, 1979, in Cookeville, TN and he passed away at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 46.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sons: Stewart Bryan, and Matthew Walker; daughters: Michelle Walker, Katie Walker, and Isabella Walker; sister: Vernicea (Robbie Litwin) Simmons and four grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends who also survive.
Honoring his wishes, Cooter's family has chosen cremation. They plan to have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, his family has requested memorial donations be made to help assist with his cremation expenses by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
