Velma Hammock

Velma Hammock was born November 5, 1946, in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN at the age of 77.

She was the daughter of Budge and Loma Haney.

Preceded in death by her parents; son: Rodney Hammock; brother: James Haney.

Survivors include uncle: Earmon Hensley of Jackson County, TN; sister-in-law: Evelyn Maynard of Gainesboro, TN; special cousins: Beverly Hensley of Cookeville, TN, Lynn Manier of Bloomington Springs, TN; nephew: Dustin Loftis and niece: Gail (Greg) Loftis of Jackson County, TN.

Graveside services and internment will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00PM at John Young Cemetery with Bro. Andrew Scott officiating.
