V. Anita Solomon

Funeral services for Mrs. V. Anita Solomon, 59, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 2, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to Raymond Roberts and Louise Roberts. On September 7, 1973, she was married to James Franklin Solomon, who survives. She was an office manager, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ, and attended McCoinsville Church of Christ. Survivors include her Husband: James Franklin Solomon of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Stephen (Laura) Solomon of Cookeville, TN, and Paul Solomon of Gainesboro, TN and his fiance, Beverly Agee of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Eva C. Solomon, Brianna Solomon, and Trenton Solomon; her Parents: Raymond and Louise Roberts of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Timothy Raymond Roberts of Gainesboro, TN; and a Special Cousin: Carolyn Blackmore of Cross Plains, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive. Bro. Hubert Jones will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Solomon family by contacting the funeral home.
