Funeral services for Mrs. Unie C. Archer, 87, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, June 21, 2010, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at NHC Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born April 29, 1923, in Macon County, TN, to the late Daniel and Ovie Martin. In August, 1940, she was married to the late Webb Dotson "Dot" Archer, who passed away April 6, 1985. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Gainesboro First Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 Son: Robert W. (Revene) Archer of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Sarah Archer Faulkner and husband, Bill, of Sweetwater, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Greg (Lee Ann) Archer, Monica (Edward) Mayer, Norma Dycus Pennycuff (Derek), and Daniel Archer Dycus; and 6 Great-Grandchildren: Fiona Pennycuff, Emmaleah Mayer, Gavin Pennycuff, Austin Archer, Peyton Archer and Sidney Mayer.
