Truman Hammock

Graveside services for Truman Hammock, 75, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 2 P.M. at the Stacy Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home on Sunday from 11 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. He passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 25, 1946, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Hubert Milton Hammock and Ardie Miss Dillon Hammock. On October 19, 1963, he was married to Glenda Hammock, who survives. He worked as a foam rubber cutter at Excel. He was the preacher at the Old Antioch community Church, and a member of the Cookeville Beagle Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brothers: James Hammock and Lonnie Hammock; and Sister: Jean Anderson. Survivors include his Wife: Glenda Hammock of Gainesboro, TN; Son: Randy (Carmela) Hammock of Gainesboro, TN; Brother: Ulis Hammock of Gainesboro, TN; and Sisters: Willadean Isaacs of Gainesboro, TN, Betty Coffman of Hilham, TN, Thelma Barlow of KY, and Truzine Phy of Cookeville, TN. Rev. Shannon Hammock will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Stacy Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
