Troy B. Goolsby

Troy B. Goolsby was born October 6, 1942, in Clay County, TN, and he passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Livingston Regional Hospital at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Lester B. Goolsby and Ona Burks Goolsby. He was a factory worker, and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Son: Lester B. Goolsby; Brother: Johnny Goolsby; and Sister: Dean Goolsby. Survivors include his Son: Chris Hamilton of Celina, TN; Daughter: Christle Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; Devoted Companion: Ona B. Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; Daughter-in-law: Sandra Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Brandon (Krystal) Rhea, Brandi (Clay) Adcock, Keisha Hooten, Colby Goolsby, Mason (Mary Jane Barlow) Cox, and Chelsey (Scott Murphy) Cox; Step Grandchildren: Travis (Krystal) Webb and Chaston (Kari) Webb; Great Grandchildren: Emma Whitenburg, Brandon Rhea Jr. and Danica (Sawyer) Barlow; and Step Great Grandchildren: Shelby Webb, Jacob Webb, Brady Bowman, Kooper Webb, and Bella Webb. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Stacey and Boles Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 8 A.M. - 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stacey and Boles Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
