Funeral services for Tonya Mae Stewart, 35, of Scottsburg, Indiana, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Scott County Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN. She was born November 4, 1976, in Madison, IN, to Donna Faye Matthews and the late James Stewart. She was a waitress, and a member of the New Hope Church of God. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents: Cordell & Georgia Matthews; and her Paternal Grandparents: Jack & Cora Stewart. Survivors include her Mother: Donna Faye Matthews of Whitleyville, TN; her Brother: Jacob Matthews of Whitleyville, TN; 3 Sisters: Bonnie Wicker, Tiffany Coomer, and Brenda Coomer, all of Indiana; and 3 Special Friends: Terri, Tammy, and Martha. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Stewart family to assist with funeral expenses.
