Funeral services for Mr. Tony Lee Allen, 52, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Jones and Huff Family Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Allen passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 5, 1956, in Jackson County, TN, to Harley and Ann Allen. He worked in the zinc mine, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Vaden and Fannie Mae Allen; and his Maternal Grandparents: Joe Craighead and Cleo Craighead Agee. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Tanya (Cory) Fox of Gainesboro, TN, and Abby Allen of Gainesboro, TN; his Parents: Harley and Ann Allen of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Jordyn Allen and Rylee Fox; 1 Sister: Teresa (Ronnie) Mayberry of the Nameless community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Nephews: Brad (Robin) Mayberry and Justin (Ashley) Mayberry; 1 Great-Nephew: Eli Mayberry; and 1 Great-Niece: Jenna Mayberry.
