Funeral services for Tony James Stafford, 36, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Monday, September 24, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P. M. - 9 P. M. and Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Tony passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born May 2, 1971, in Cookeville, TN, to James (Brown) and Helen Stafford. He was a factory worker at Dacco. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Grover Cecil Stafford; his maternal grandparents: Carsey and Virginia Jones Chaffin; and 1 uncle: Jimmy Strong. Survivors include his Parents: James (Brown) and Helen Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; his Grandmother: Flora Mae Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; Special Aunt: Deborah Strong of Gainesboro, TN; Special Cousin: Scottie Strong of Gainesboro, TN; Special Second Cousin: Nathan Strong; 4 Uncles; and 3 Aunts. Other relatives, cousins, and many friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
