Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Bruce Biggs, Sr., 61, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at his residence. He was born October 12, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Mack Biggs and Joann Draper Biggs. He was married to Rita Newberry Biggs, who survives. He was a carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Michael, Robert, Darrell, and Dennis Biggs. Survivors include his Wife: Rita Newberry Biggs of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Son: Tommy (Wendy) Biggs, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Jennifer Brazle of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Jason and Brooklyn Brazle, Elijah and Ashley Biggs; and 2 Sisters: Diane Biggs (David) Smith of Whitleyville, TN, and Loretta (Mike) Moore of Celina, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
