Tommie Ray Stafford

Funeral services for Mr. Tommie Ray Stafford, 61, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Stafford passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009, at Skyline Madison Campus in Madison, TN. He was born May 15, 1948, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lee Stafford and Lula Canter Stafford. On April 1, 1982, he was married to Brenda Kay Stafford, who survives. He was a factory worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Marty Lynn Stafford; and 1 Brother: Joe Stafford. Survivors include his Wife: Brenda Kay Stafford of Cookeville, TN; 1 Son: Marty Lee Flatt and fiance, Hannah, of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Amber Lynn and fiance, Danny Knisely, of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Tyler Ray Sharp and unborn granddaughter, Destiny Marie Cyan Flatt; 2 Brothers: Benny Stafford of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Cecil Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters: Gladys Wilmoth of Cookeville, TN, Ruby Morris of Crossville, TN, and Molene (George) Hamilton of Bloomington Springs, TN.
