T.J. Young

Funeral services for Mr. T.J. Young, 66, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2011, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born May 3, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late George V. Young and Ethel Flatt Young. He worked as a steel sales rep. for 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Charles Young, James Jr. Young, and Thomas Young. Survivors include his Wife: Cindy Young of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Donald (Kim) Young of Crystal Lake, IL, Michael (Erin) Young of Gilberts, IL, and James Eric (Penney) Young of Gainesboro, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Kasey, Amanda, Justin, Nicholas, Danielle, and Jake; 1 Great Grandchild: Lilly; 2 Brothers: Dennis (Linda) Young of Carthage, TN, and Ronnie (Shirley) Young of North Carolina; 1 Sister: Loretta (Don) Provencher of New Hampshire; and his Best Friends: W.C. and Shirley Howell, and Lois Young.
