Timothy James Evins

Funeral services for Mr. Timothy James Evins, 47, of the New Salem community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, May 14, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Evins passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born November 27, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, to James L. Evins and the late Barbara Hall Evins. He was a masonry worker and a member of the Church of Christ. He also served in the Army National Guard. Survivors include 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Angelia and Chris Sagely of Azores, Portugal; 1 Step-Daughter: Brittney Steward of the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN; his Father: James L. Evins of the New Hope community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Brother: Stoney Lee Evins of the New Hope Community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Peyton Sagely and Lillian Letner; his Girlfriend: Melinda Steward of the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN; and 2 Nephews: Dylan and Devon Evins.
