Thomas L. Weaver

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas L. Weaver, 89, of Nashville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 21, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 - 9 P.M. and Monday from 4 - 8 P.M. at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Weaver passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2006, at the Bethany Health Care and Rehab Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born October 18, 1916, in Robertson County, Tennessee, to the late Gillie Weaver and Sally Grubbs Weaver. On January 21, 1939, he was married to Hallie B. Rhoten Weaver, who survives. Mr. Weaver was a steel worker. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Children: Tommy Frank Weaver and Sherrie Frances Brammer; 3 Brothers: Carney Weaver, Pete Weaver, and Gillie Weaver, Jr.; and 2 Sisters: Frances Bedwell and Evie Lou Eanes. Survivors include his wife: Hallie B. Rhoten Weaver of Nashville, TN; 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Randall and Sue Weaver of Burns, TN; 1 Grandchild: Chase Alan Brammer of Nashville, TN; 1 Brother: Billy Weaver of Madison, TN; and 2 Sisters: Lillie Ruth White of Greenbrier, TN, and Dorothy Thibedeau of Maine.
