Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Junior Goolsby, 73, of Hilham, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Turkeytown Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born January 31, 1946, in Clay County, TN, to the late Lloyd Goolsby and Ila Goolsby. He worked as a millwright in the automotive and construction industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Michael Goolsby and David Goolsby; 1 Sister: Wanda Brown; and 1 Brother: Harlon Goolsby. Survivors include his Long Time Companion: Connie Brink of Hilham, TN; 1 Son: Thomas Junior (Leslie) Goolsby, Jr. of Goodells, MI; 4 Daughters: Cathy (Steve) Jackson of Monroe, MI, Deana Beard of Trenton, MI, Diana (Mike) Zoellner of Locust Grove, GA, and Kyra Brink of Hilham, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Britani (Alex) Ashkeboussi, Elizabeth Brooks, Olivia Jackson, Jake Jackson, John Zoellner, Brooke Goolsby, and Thomas Goolsby; 2 Great Grandchildren: Michael Brooks and Livi Jackson; 2 Brothers: Troy (Debbie) Goolsby of Warren, MI, and David (Relaine) Goolsby of New Baltimore, MI; 4 Sisters: Louise Blanken of New Tazewell, TN, Loure Barlow of Gainesboro, TN, Martha Burton of St. Clair Shores, MI, and Barbara Wheeler of Gainesboro, TN; and Special Friends: Debbie and Bruce Wigtion of Mt. Morris, IL. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Philip Morgan will officiate at the services.
