Mr. Thomas Earl Quick, 84, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Signature Health Care in Algood, TN. The family has chosen cremation. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home at 6 pm with Bro. Ronald Strong officiating. He was born September 28, 1935, in Spencer, TN, to the late Loyd Quick and Nancy Samantha Northcut Quick. He was married to the late Stella R. Quick. He worked as an industrial engineer, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Richard Quick; 2 Brothers: Don Northcut and Mack Quick; and 1 Sister: Eva Lou Dobinspeck. Survivors include 2 Sons: Thomas B. Quick of Maine, and Cletus L. Quick of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Tammy Gibbs of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Jessica Quick of Maine, Danielle Quick of Texas, Daniel James of Knoxville, TN, Thomas James of Cookeville, TN, Eric Quick of Cookeville, TN, and Anthony Quick of Nashville, TN; 4 Great Grandchildren: Diamond James, Nyssa James, Ebony James, and Damien James; and 2 Brothers: Carlos Quick of Nashville, TN, and Steve Quick of Smithville, TN.
