Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Davidson, 63, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at his residence. He was born July 28, 1954, in Detroit, MI, to the late Bernice Davidson and Reba Davidson. On August 1, 1981, he was married to Evelyn Davidson, who survives. He was a diesel mechanic, and enjoyed wrestling and playing poker. He loved spending time with his grandkids. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several uncles and aunts. Survivors include his Wife: Evelyn Davidson of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Bernie (Savanna) Davidson of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Beckie (Kevin) Swallows of Cookeville, TN, and Lisa (Nathan) Green of Celina, TN; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Richard Davidson of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister: Debbie Stone of Howell, MI; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Rikki Giddens of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Aunt: Barbara Sanders of Lebanon, TN; 1 Brother-in-Law: Wesley Waldrop; and Special Friend: Chris McLemore. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
