Thomas Brown

Thomas Brown was born September 14, 1944 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 78.

He was the son of the late Willard Edward Brown and Pearl Dean Freeman Brown. On April 17, 1965, he was married to Geneva Brown, who survives. He worked in plumbing and electric, and was a member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sisters: Faye Mahaney and Kaye Clark.

Survivors include his Wife: Geneva Brown of Gainesboro, TN; Sons: Tommy (Beth) Brown of Whitleyville, TN, and Tony Brown of Gainesboro, TN; Daughter: Teresa (Jeff) McCormick of Goodlettsville, TN; and Grandchildren: Colby Brown, Eli McCormick, Connor Brown, Clara McCormick, Kendrick Brown, and Kain Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Birdwell Cemetery in the Center Grove community. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
