Funeral services for Thirise Ann Allen, 67, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, October 25, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Allentown Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born August 6, 1952, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Donald E. Allen and Ruth Meadows Allen. She was a factory worker and beautician, and a member of the New Salem Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Garry Travis Allen. Survivors include 1 Brother: Ronnie J. (Janet) Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Nephew: Ricky (Christie) Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Niece: Kristi (Anthony) Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Great Nephews: Hadyn Allen and Dylan (Cameron) Brown; and 2 Great Nieces: Makayla Allen and Chelsea Brown. Other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
