Theodore "Ted" Agin

Funeral services for Mr. Theodore E. "Ted" Agin, 62, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Agin passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born April 9, 1947, in Butler, Ohio, to the late Fred and Doris Agin. On November 12, 1986, he was married to Sharon Agin, who survives. He was a heavy machine operator and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Richard and Robert Agin. Survivors include his Wife: Sharon Agin of Monterey, TN; 3 Sons: Theodore E. "T.J." Agin, Jr. of Monterey, TN, Matthew J. McCoy of Monterey, TN, and Daniel L. Jordan of Crossville, TN; 2 Honorary Sons: Carl S. Collison and Matthew R. Cantrell; 3 Grandchildren: Brayden C. Agin, Zoey S. McCoy, and Alliza Collison; and 1 Sister: Deborah Agin of Butler, OH.
