Thelma F. McBride

Thelma Dennis McBride was born Nov. 20, 1940 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at her residence in Gainesboro at the age of 80. She was the daughter of Henry B. Dennis and Willie T. Hopkins Dennis. She was a nursing assistant and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. She enjoyed being with her family and working with her flowers. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John L., Baugh, Lewis, Kelly and Ray Dennis; sisters, Aline Dennis, Cora Mathis and Betty Flatt. Survivors include sons, Randy (Cindy) McBride of Baxter and Terry (Michelle) McBride of Bloomington Springs; daughter, Missy (Mark Scott) McBride of Cookeville; grandchildren, Sarah (Allen) Payne, Ryan McBride, Annie McBride, Tyler McBride, Taylor Scott and Torie McBride; great grandchildren, Tatum Payne, Kira Payne, Samuel Payne and Bryson Stephens; special sister-in-laws, Linda Dennis and Teresa Dennis. Nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 11, 2021 2-8 pm and again on Monday, 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with burial to follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Matthew Scoggins will officiate the service. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be, Mark Dennis, Kevin Dennis, Alex Gaw, Jackson Gaw, Travis Dennis and Robert Milton.
