Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma C. Fox, 87, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Sycamore Church of Christ in Cookeville, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her residence. She was born October 23, 1929, in Detroit, MI, to the late Otha Donal Pippin and Minnie Jewel Pippin. She was married to Leamon Fox, who survives. She was retired from a 38 year career at McCord Winn, and was an active member of the Sycamore Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Karen Fox; 1 Brother: Willie Clyde Pippin; and 1 Sister: Betty Sue Petty. Survivors include her Husband: Leamon Fox of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Son: Gary (Joy) Fox of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Daughter: Amy Fox of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Bryann (Amy) Fox, Don Holloway III, Kelly (Landon) Gaw, Heather (Tommy) Moore, and Elana Newton; 8 Great Grandchildren: Eli, Shelby, Jack, Jessie, Tori, Shai, Lexi, and Luke; 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Bryce and Bentley; and 1 Sister: Evelyn (Bobby) Stout of Lebanon, TN.
