Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Aline Collier, 90, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, at her residence. She was born May 4, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Frank Guess and Ann Guess. She was married to the late Douglas Collier. She was a factory worker at Heavy Duty, and a member of the Bloomington Springs Church of Christ. She loved gardening and taking care of her home. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her First Husband: Frank Montgomery; 3 Sisters: Ruby Johnson, Louetta Hargis, and Dimple Lane; 1 Brother: Doyle Guess; and 1 Son: Johnny Collier. Survivors include 2 Sons: Buddy (Arlene) Collier of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Jimmy (Virginia) Collier of the Cubb Creek community of Jackson County; 3 Daughters: Wanda (James) Earnest of Bloomington Springs, TN, Elloise Keith of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Bonnie (Larry) Meadows of the Whites Bend community of Jackson County; 14 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Sisters: Lois (Harold) Denny of Louisiana, Gladys (Roy) Hart of Cookeville, TN, and Carlene (Meryl) Phy of Cookeville, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Paul Fox and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
