Ted Gordon Ragland

Funeral services for Mr. Ted Gordon Ragland, 75, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 to 9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born April 8, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Herbert Watson Ragland and Fronia Ann Vinson Ragland. On April 24, 1965, he was married to M.B. Ragland, who survives. He was retired from the Jackson County Hospital, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ, where he served as an elder for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Ezell, Larry M., Coy, and Ralph Ray Ragland; and 1 Sister: Mary Alice Rush. Survivors include his Wife: M.B. Ragland of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Teddy (Rachel) Ragland of Gainesboro, TN, and David (Jaime) Ragland of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Peyton Ragland, Hannah Ragland, Brady Ragland, Carson Ragland, and Lily Ragland; 2 Brothers: Haskell (Betty) Ragland and Donnie (Sandy) Ragland, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Moydene Robinson of East Pointe, MI. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Alan Judd, Bro. Randy Duke, and Bro. John Mabery will officiate at the services.
